Back

So i've come back to the blogging scene, i'm back from my first year at uni, this blog is now going to be used to show my DIY numbers. I have been interested in DIY clothing and have found several youtube videos that have shown me some key hints and tips in creating designer looks for a couple of quid, so if your like me and will not pay £40 for a new pair of shorts and would rather create your own look that unique then thats what i aim to do. Hopefully i will gain experience from people who read my blog and they gain experience from me :) 

My little spend :)

If you've read previous posts, i went to Manchester on Tuesday so i thought id post some of the things i found whilst  on my budget spend! (i need to save money for uni) 

 Firstly, the all mighty Primark!

Firstly, i picked up a couple of cardigans as its pretty much wintery weather all the time now and its my favourite season <3 i just love all the big thick cardigans and big cosy jim jams and mr pig my hot water bottle, its impossible to get "cosy" in winter.

This is the second cardigan i picked up, i really liked it at first so it was straight in the basket, i love the colour and its a big chunky cardigan what's not to like haha, unfortunately when i got home i wasn't impressed by Primarks careless attention to the quality. One of the pockets was falling off! its a good job i can sew and mend things. but hey its Primark, nothing is going to be top quality for that price!

These two tops were hanging in the sale rail, should of been £4 each but were reduced to £2, there just two plainish tops that will go well under things and i don't have vests in these colours so i took my chance. they didn't have them in my size but i thought they would be okay to be big and floaty to wear tucked in with things :)

These PJ's are amazing! they look a bit creased is because i was wearing them, 

I love these for many a reason, there spotty, there cosy, there huge, AND THEY HAVE POCKETSSSS!

£4 - Dolly Shoes                          £5 Booties

Shoessss, the dolly shoes are really comfy! i had them on yesterday, the should of been £8 but they were in the sale for £4 (i like a bargain) 

Also, the boots are to replace my good old faithfuls, i had a nice pair of these boots from Matalan and i wore them everywhere, sadly there all out of shape and are huge for me now so i invested in these simple inexpensive basics, there really comfy though which was a supprise, However, due to the price i'm not holding out that they last long.

I also bought a whole load of underwear socks and tights, there not that interesting though :) 

And also a bronzer pallette thingy, it should of been £4 or £5 and i think i got it  for £2  

I was really gutted with the jewellery again :( i couldn't find anything that stood out and i needed to have, i'm in search of some new bits and bobs 

Then i popped into the one and only Lush <3

I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to lush as we don't have one near us but i thought id give something a try

I bought the blue skies bubble bar which smells AMAZING
The description is "patchouli will sharpen your wits, cinnamon leaf will warm & stimulate you" Well i can definitely smell the cinnamon, i cant wait to use it. At the moment its sitting on my dressing table acting as a air freshener, it has made my room smell lovely :) 

Finally, i took my boyfriend to Afflecks Palace, he'd never been! i was gob smacked. He absolutely loved it, i could of bought so much stuff in there, its full of wondrous nick nacks and beautiful vintage pieces. I managed to come out with one thing which was a vintage looking blazer, i don't have any blazers so i felt the need to buy one aha, i havent taken a picture unfortunately, its very creased!
This was the best thing about it, it was reduced down to £10!
Well that was my little haul i'd love to do more haul posts and there will be more in the future, i cannot save money for my life!

When you get paid do you feel you need to buy a whole shop straight away? Anyone got any big  musts i should buy from lush next time?

Hi Lovelies

Yes i'm bored.

Well.. the picture has no relevance to this post, i found it whist sorting out my documents on my lappy and it amused me <:

I want a decent camera so i can start blogging pretty pictures and other random pointless things in my life because i like to instead of this crappy webcam! i may steal my boyfriends canon <:

IM SOO BORED, i really want to do something like "insert interesting thing to do here" OH i know what i can do i could bake some cupcakes or cookies mmm...

tell you what i had a really good time last night in the least interesting place in england, A tribute act called Kazabian played (you may of heard of them, there from hull) and my boyfriends band supported, they were both awesome! Me being kind of like a groupie i got to go into the bands dressing rooms and drink all the free beer :) we got sozzled haha,
i'm not really a one to drink too much or stop out late (party pooper over here) noo i just end up falling asleep! we didnt get back till 3am, most surreal night ever, i just enjoyed going up to people saying oh yeah this is Kasabian, most people replying with "ohh what wow" ahaa <:

Just got to wait till tomorrow now and im going to MANCHESTER shop shop shopping, excited muchh

Rush Rush Rush

Cor blimey, 

i've been busy since the day i got my unconditional offer to go to university, i literally have not stopped and just had a day to myself. So what have i been up to? 

Well.. the day after results my boyfriend got an email saying he has no accommodation, so we were teasing him about sleeping in a tent outside the uni haha, to our humour we found out that he now has to live in pontins! yes PONTINS it was so surreal i felt like i was on a bad holiday when we went to visit, its not too bad thought hes sharing with someone he knows.
Once that was all sorted and fine and dandy i packed my bags and we went to center parcs for a week :) i'm sure i lost about 3 stone we did so much in 5 days! i even went quad biking, it was awesome! (i will post some piccies)
so yes i am now back and im busy packing and sorting and basically getting ready to leave my little house :'( (cries a little)

AND me and the boyf are travelling to manchester for the day on tuesday for a nice little shopping spree and a nandos (ouft cant wait for that nandos, its been so long!) will all the money i thought i get paid from working my butt off the weeks before, turns out i only got paid a fraction of it and the rest comes at the end of september </3 so im having to borrow off the mother again, which isnt all that bad as most of the time she wont accept money back :P

i will be raiding primark of its little cheap treasures, let me know if you want me to post a blog of my haul, for now im recovering from center parcs and i shall upload some photos of my lovely time there :)

I'M GOING TO UNI

Ups and Downs

I haven't done a post in a little while, I just haven't had the time been a little busy bunny

Thought i'd tell you about my haul last Friday.

I got up bright and early ready for a mass spend in Blackpool, I ventured to Primark first and was pretty disappointed :( I think they were lacking in all the good stuff! I barely bought anything worth telling you about.
I bought one dress which when I got home it didn't really look right on but I still like it.
One chiffony type blouse which I LOVE and I will be buying more of, I dont really know why I didnt get them in other colours.
Finally, I practically bought a new underwear draw, mine was getting pretty outdated and tatty, so yeah, it was packets of socks and tights galore.
The jewellery selection was awful I didn't find one thing! and that's not me and an accessories freak :) 

So after the disappointment in Primark i ventured to the more expensive ranges like Topshop and Miss Selfridges and I didn't really want to buy anything BUT I saw hanging in the sale rail  this little beauty   

A Bikini :) not your average autumn buy but I looovee it!

There is good reason why I needed one, I am going to Center Parcs with my boyfriends family  next week! it was a bit of a short notice, he text me while I was in Blackpool saying they had booked a holiday with me :) now i'm excited

Its from Topshop and it Should of been £26 but it was £10, that's quite a bargain

And it was the only one and it was in my size now that bikini was meant for me haha  

It looks really nice on (I can tell you I look like a beached whale, I hate bikinis and exposing my body in public but I really liked how this looked on me) I t's a kind of a balcony type top with a halter neck strap you can take off, it also has little gold cubes at the end of the straps which I thought made it look expensive :) it has small ruffles on the front and also ruffles on the bum

   Finally, I am getting my results tomrrow! and I am cacking my pants, i'm really nervous but also really excited at the same time, this time tomorrow I will be sat in the pub either celebrating or drowning my sorrows. Either way I will be utterly gazebowed :)

Random Updates In Life

What is going on in my life

1, I can't wait for tomorrow, I AM GOING TO PRIMARK! major excited, even more than a small child on Christmas (the nearest one is 1 and a half hours away) So yeah I don't often just get to pop into cheap goodies when I want. I just can't wait to delve into all the Autumn collection, i've seen so many nice things on peoples blogs!

2,  EXAM RESULTS - ahhhhh. yes I am crapping my pants, at around 8:30am next week I will have a envelope that tells me if i'm in uni or not, pretty major stuff.

I'm needing 240 points to do a sport science degree at Manchester Met in Crewe, hopefully I worked my little butt hard enough to get that. If I do get my results that's it a month later and ill be living the life of a student ohh yeahh 8)
